Once breakfast was out of the way it was into town to get our son Blair the hunting knife he liked so we could get back up to the Post Office before it closed at noon to post it to him, once done it was back into town to have another small look before going back to our lodgings to get ready for a ride around the lake; about 60-70 miles.
Have a look at some of the homes we passed along the lakeside.
We stopped for a coffee at a little lakeside town called Wolfeboro which apparently is the oldest town around the lake, very nice spot. We called into the bank to get some money and it was very flash; it was like walking into a very high class hotel lobby!
From Wolfeboro it was out to Alton, onto Gilford and into Laconia township for a quick stop. It just happen to be that we stopped right outside a secondhand store that was just begging to be explored; so we all did; it was wonderful! From Laconia it was back to Weirs Beach for Judy, Denise, Garry and myself whilst the others went to the Harley Shop. We went over the road to the beach bar for a drink before going into the restaurant for dinner.
Tomorrow we all have a date with a local TV studio! We are famous! After this we head out of Weirs Beach to our next destination.
