Boston!

Today we walked the Freedom Trail; 4 kms of Boston history, markets, food and drink, gay parade: what more can you ask for?

Jo arranged transport into town where we were dropped off outside Boston Common, America's oldest park, in a rather affluent part of town. Once we were all together we had a nice amble through the park.

George Washington

He was really good!

From the park we continued to follow the trail down through the City; into the Markets, have lunch at the "Cheers Bar" (not the actual bar but the one that inspired the programme), go through Paul Revere's family home and out to finish at the USS Constitution, which is still an active duty warship. All in all we walked about 4k's but it really felt like it was much more.

By the time we had finished all this, and more, we were pretty tired and by the looks of most of the other team members they won't need much rocking tonight.

Tomorrow; Laconia!
