People are asking are we getting excited yet? I answer no not at all, just another trip 😄
I lie, we are jumping out of our skins to hit the road on another adventure with very dear friends. The last couple of days have seen Judy and I sorting out our luggage; what to take? Past rides have taught us to heed the words of a wise lady (Jo) and pack lightly for the bike as generally, you buy one or two t' shirts on the way around so you need the space, aye Jody? 😄 or you end up posting stuff back which is really expensive.
Judy is doing very well, as you can see in the above photo, and still has room in her case whereas mine below is rather chocker, but still below the allowable weight!
It goes without saying that a lot of the room is taken up with our riding gear, of which all of mine is in the case, liner bags for the hard luggage, etc. and half the stuff in our cases won't be going on the bike; they are for the trip afterward. It can also be safely assumed by you all, the cat will not be going 😄
This trip I became a little cunning. Past trips have often resulted in bags being packed and unpacked a few times to make sure I have what I need, this trip is a little different: I made a list!😂 Yes, this time I listed all that went into my bag and it hasn't been unpacked once; well not yet anyway.😓 I think I may have started a trend.
